The rehearsal for the Broadway hit comedy with dances by Jerome Robbins, Directed by George Abbott, and with music by Irving Berlin. The show starred Ethel Merman in the lead role of Ms. Sally Adams, the U.S. Ambassador to Lichtenburg, who upon her arrival immediately falls for Lichtenburger Cosmo Constantine. The show was later made into a film, also starring Ethel Merman.

Loganberry on a campaign to expose the corruption of the Louisiana government in this lighthearted spoof inspired by the administration of the late Governor Huey Long.
