Sono Osato as Ivy Smith, aka "Miss Turnstiles" for the month of June, in the "Presentation of Miss Turnstiles" number with the reporters chorus surrounding. "Miss Turnstiles" was a woman chosen every month, "She's got to be beautiful, she's got to be just an average girl, and most important of all she's got to ride the subway"- a take on the real life "Miss Subways" famous New York subway advertisement campaigns.
