Her photographs document hundreds of American theater classics from 1939 through 1965 with a candid photographic style that brought warmth and humanity to the budding stars who would become legends. Fiorello!
October 22, 1959

Tom Bosley as Fiorello H. La Guardia with Ellen Hanley as Fiorello's first wife Thea. Thea died rather young of tuburculosis on November 29, 1921 at the age of 26. Fiorello later re-married his secretary Marie Fisher, played by Patricia Wilson.
