The King And I

from left: Louis Leonowens (Sandy Kennedy), Prince Chulalongkorn (Johnny Stewart), Lady Thiang (Dorothy Sarnoff), and Anna Leonowens (Gertrude Lawrence). Anna reads aloud the letter the King has spent all day on his deathbed writing and commanded to Lady Thiang to bring her. He thanks her for her friendship, giving her resolve to see him before he dies in the final scene.
